4TEA+ contains Green tea, Hibiscus, Rooibos, Ortosifon, Green coffee, Maté, Caffeine and Riboflavin.


Green tea, green coffee and maté exploit the same active ingredients (methylxanthines, among which caffeine, and chlorogenic acid) and antioxidant substances, to carry out their slimming and draining functions. More specifically, the methylxanthines (caffeine, theobromine, theophylline) in green tea promote reduced fat absorption and increased capacity to burn excess fat. The antioxidant power of green tea is given above all by the poliphenols, present in 4TEA+ in high quantities, that our body requires to slow cell ageing down, promote tissue regeneration and fight the free radicals that can be responsible for degenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimer's. A particularly interesting substance in green tea is epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). This can inhibit the growth and proliferation of cancer cells and reduces the levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, with a protective action from cardiovascular diseases.

Green coffee acts on fat metabolism with the same mechanism as green tea, thanks to the methylxanthines. Among these, caffeine, present as such also in 4TEA+ that, apart from the slimming effect, stimulates the central nervous system, reducing the feeling of fatigue, and improves muscular contraction. Green coffee acts also on the blood sugar content in two ways. The first one depends on chlorogenic acid that reduces the formation of glucose starting from the glycogen in the liver. In the second one, the coffee itself acts on the intestinal mucosa, cutting down on the amount of sugar absorbed.

Maté leaves make a substantial contribution to weight loss due to their caffeine content, but more specifically their chlorogenic acid content. This works by slowing down the release of glucose into the blood after meals, reducing sugar absorption in the intestine. In combination with its anti-oxidant power and caffeine’s 'fat-burning' effect, it is a great ally in weight loss.

Hibiscus, Rooibos and Ortosifon have a mainly draining and antioxidant action. They are rich in vitamins, Vitamin C in particular, and minerals such as Iron, Calcium and Magnesium. Rooibos has also immunostimulant and adaptogen properties, a very important aspect to fight diet stress. .
