CARBO LOAD

CARBO LOAD+ is a carbohydrate supplement, designed for recovery after intense and prolonged exercise, and is therefore especially suitable for endurance athletes and after the following strength exercises.


After a workout the body restores its reserves anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes after the end of the training session. It is during this block of time that is actually the best moment to take carbohydrates. It is at this point that you can quickly replenish glycogen stores because the muscle has none left and the blood flow is still high.


In fact, carbohydrates even contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after an intense and prolonged workout that results in muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.

CARBO LOAD+ was designed using a different source of carbohydrates with superior characteristics, called Vitargo.

Vitargo is the registered name of a unique polysaccharide obtained by processing starch. It is a complex carbohydrate chain (a long series of glucose molecules that forms linear and branched chains) that has a high molecular weight. Vitargo differs from other supplements because it has a higher molecular weight as well as a dextrose equivalence and glycemic index that are both lower than the carbohydrates present in other energy supplements. This is due to its characteristic behavior in the intestine. In fact Vitargo requires longer digestion times due to its complex chain structure. This ensures a steady stream of glucose, which prevents blood glucose and insulin peaks, and thus maintains constant blood glucose levels. All these features are proof of Vitargo’s effectiveness in restoring muscle and liver glycogen reserves after strenuous workouts.

Usage

Add 2 and half scoops (40 g) in 500 ml of water and take once a day, after intense and long-lasting training
